Domain transfer FAQs
Will my website go down during the transfer?
No. As long as your nameservers and DNS records stay the same, your website and email continue to work while the transfer is in progress.
Do I lose the time left on my domain?
No. The remaining registration period carries over and one additional year is added after the transfer completes.
Why can’t I transfer a newly registered domain?
Registry rules lock domains for 60 days after registration or a previous transfer. You can transfer once that period has ended.
Can you help me with the transfer?
Yes. Contact our team and we will guide you through unlocking the domain and getting the EPP code.
